Day 1 Peppermint


It takes 1 pound of peppermint to make a 15ml bottle of essential oils.

Substitute 1/8 teaspoon of Young Living Peppermint essential oil per teaspoon of peppermint extract, then add more drops of oil until you’re satisfied with the flavor.

Peppermint uses:

Use 1 drop inhale, rub it on the back of your neck for alertness and when you are tired.  You can always diffuse it.

Rub 1 drop to your belly for bloating, fullness, gas, constipation, heartburn, nausea, vomiting.

Also when you are feeling hot.  You can add to a spray bottle with filtered/distilled water to 20 drops of peppermint to help cool you down.  Spray in your mouth for a breath refresher.   Hot flashes anyone?! I am going to have to try this.

If you have sensitive skin dilute the peppermint.  Use old empty essential oil bottles. Add a roller ball filament to it for the ease of rolling it on.

Add a few drops on Japanese beetles if they are making a home on your plants.  They will drop right off.

Add to a spray bottle with distilled water and spray around your home to eliminate spiders, ants and other insects.
